How do I search for medicines?
Use the search bar on the homepage or on the map. Type the generic name, brand name or active ingredient and instantly see which pharmacies have it in stock, ordered by distance from you.
Can I reserve medicines?
Reserving medicines through the platform is not possible yet. You can, however, contact the pharmacy directly by phone or WhatsApp with one click to confirm availability and ask them to hold the medicine.
Is Hooda Connect free?
Yes. Hooda Connect is completely free for anyone looking for medicines and pharmacies. No account is needed to search.
Which pharmacies appear on the platform?
All pharmacies registered on Hooda Connect appear. Pharmacies using Hooda Software also display their medicine inventory synchronized in real time; the others show location, contacts and opening hours.
Why can't I see medicine availability in some pharmacies?
Only pharmacies integrated with Hooda Software can publish and synchronize their stock automatically. If a pharmacy does not use Hooda Software yet, only its location, contacts and opening hours are visible.
How can pharmacies join Hooda Connect?
Simply contact our team via email at connect@hoodapos.com or by phone/WhatsApp at +258 861 576 768. We help with registering the pharmacy and, if desired, with the Hooda Software integration to synchronize inventory.
Is Hooda Connect available across Mozambique?
Yes. The platform is available nationwide and the network of participating pharmacies keeps growing, from Maputo to the Rovuma.
How often is medicine availability updated?
In pharmacies using Hooda Software, stock is synchronized automatically in real time: when the pharmacy sells or restocks a medicine, the information is updated on the platform immediately.
Is my information secure?
Yes. We take privacy seriously: searches require no registration, your location is used only on your device to calculate distances, and any personal data you share with us is handled confidentially and securely.

Hooda Connect covers the whole country and the network grows city by city, with presence in centres such as Maputo, Matola, Beira, Nampula, Chimoio, Tete, Quelimane, Xai-Xai, Pemba and Inhambane. The list of pharmacies per city is always current in the platform directory.
Does Hooda Connect replace advice from a health professional?
No. Hooda Connect is an information and location tool: it shows where to find medicines and pharmacies, but it does not provide consultations or prescribe treatment. For clinical questions, and for prescription-only medicines, always consult a doctor or pharmacist.
